The ideal process of screening for oral cancer would make it possible for clinicians to accurately identify tissue changes below the surface before they are visible under normal clinical examination. That is what the VELscope does. VELscope uses a safe, visible, blue light to identify suspicious tissue that may require further investigation.

When used in combination with traditional oral examination procedures, VELscope facilitates the early discovery and enhances the visualization of oral mucosal lesions.
